This young athlete maintains substantial social media presence
The young golfer will have numerous well-known cheerleaders as she begins her professional golf debut on Thursday.
The 18-year-old athlete, who happens to be connected to a former US president, was granted a tournament invitation to play at the Annika tournament in Florida.
Her grandfather, an avid golfer, owns numerous golf courses and often plays against his granddaughter.
"He's quite skilled. I can't say much but we have competitive games," she mentioned.
The golfer shared that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply don't get nervous."
"My grandpa essentially suggested to compete and enjoy myself," she added.
"In my eyes, he's simply an ordinary family member. He won't be there this weekend. He's busy with presidential duties, so he's rather occupied."
While still amateur, Kai has competed in only three events recently and holds position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association listings.
But she's able to receive tips from Tiger Woods, romantically involved with Vanessa.
"He represents the greatest golfer in the world," Kai stated.
"Furthermore, he's a superior person. He told me to play, have fun, adapting to whatever happens."
The golfer will compete against several most prominent players in professional golf at this tournament, including second-ranked the champion, England's golfer Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.
The LPGA commented that involving Kai brings the sport to new audiences, especially reaching the next generation.
The social media influencer maintains a massive following and has started an exclusive fashion and living brand.
She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
